Wow, goldrush looks REALLY good. Seems like a three stage Dustbowl-like map. I bet it'll be a new favorite. Saw a couple new textures in there, too, I think. So sweet!

Seemed like some of the sides of the buildings were a blue tone that I didn't recognize. Plus new models in the form of that last elevator at C and the arrows along the path. I could be wrong though : /

Oh this is a step backwards, badlands looked very diffrent and cool, this reminds me too much of dustbowl! :(

Yeah new models almost certainly (the cart :P)
I like the way it is multiple stage :D and it looks pretty awesome, if a little bit bland

Badlands was definitely better in terms of aesthetics. But look again; although this is reminiscent of dustbowl, they're doing a couple new things: I've noticed so far
1. Much more wood. Makes the map look like an actual base of some sort. Dustbowl really doesn't make any sense conceptually. A couple shacks here and there, some mining equipment strewn about, then all of a sudden some industrial area with a rocket.
2. Grey tones. They're using a lot more concrete and faded metal in this one, the map looks more subdued in tone.
3. Size. Hard to completely tell without being in game, but the level seems much more open, with far fewer choke points (read: easier to sneak around as spy) in the form of tunnels. It'll be harder to defend than dustbowl, I think?
4. Bucket on a string. WTF IS THIS? 55 seconds in, look for it. How does that make any sense???

Its decoration who cares, better that than nothing imho :)
It doesn't have to make sense, if it looks good and it doesn't bother you, woohoo! :)
