really nice end result.
i just think that you went a bit to small with the paint strokes on the main body. i think fewer and bigger ones would look better. it looks quite busy with so many heavy contrast strokes, imo.
but very cool in every other way !

I'm using lightwave's PLG (http://www.lightwiki.com/Plg_Make_UV_Edit) plugins (http://homepage2.nifty.com/nif-hp/index2_english.htm). Specifically, the mesh reduction plugin, 2nd from the bottom. I spent a good chunk of time looking for non-lightwave related softwares that would generate reduced polygon meshes but keep the UV intact, and the very best results I had happened to be from the same set of plugins I use for unwrapping my UV meshes. But it's a lightwave only thing I'm afraid.

Wow. You know, this is just perfect. I'm in the planning stages of a map that, in its current iteration at least, includes a loading dock, warehouse, or something of that ilk (when I say "planning stages", imagine the phrase in six-foot-high concrete letters). And while I knew it would eventually need a delivery truck of some kind, a forklift never would have dawned on me.

This looks great. It's just the right size to hold the big crate prop, the texture meshes nicely with the other items in the world (especially said crate), and the little knob on the steering wheel is a nice touch; I didn't even know they had those.

Ok, yes, I see now, it's all coming back to me. The zip file contains 6 texture files, 3 vmts and 3 vtfs at 1024x1024 resolution. The vtfs all rely on the alpha channel for a phong parameter, and from my use of it on zinkenite, I can tell you don't need it (plus with full compile shadows, phong shading doesn't really work like you want it to), so I will keep the model at 1024 resolution, but save as a dtx1 and remove the alpha channel and it will go from 1366 kb per texture to 513 kb per texture. I also updated the texture for zinkenite, I'll have to include that. Back in a few--

Remember to only pack the texture/s you need! It's pointless to pack what you don't use!
