Ok, on the last forum I hung out with we kept this going for the entire time the group was active reaching over 1000 posts in the thread.

Here is the basic idea. The first person in the thread (that would be me) posts a hypothetical "fight" aka:

(Object / Person / place / thing) vs (Object / Person / place / thing)

The next person to post says who / what would win said fight, then posts their own. If you want you can explain why you picked the winner, but that is not a necessity.

The only thing that is required is that you pick a winner then post a new fight. If you forget to do either the next person in the thread is responsible for picking up the slack.

To tell the truth, neither they are both overpriced in my humble opinion, however if I must choose, then Sony Vaio. Alienware is the epitome of "I had to much money so rather than light my $100's on fire, I bought an alienware". With the Sony Vaio people are only burning $20's....

I will probably get reamed in the arse for saying this but if you are going to buy a laptop I recommend either Toshiba or Dell. I have had a couple Dell laptops and have found their online support to be excellent. They have complete teardown guides with pictures for their laptops so you can safely dismantle them and replace parts yourself, also you can find replacement parts cheap on ebay.

Hmm, I will have to go with the fingernails, more painful in the short run, but not mutilating for life.

As for the woodchipper jamming, you obviously have not seen a real woodchipper, I have seen workers feeding 20 inch logs into a big road work woodchipper and it just eats them up no problem. Actually, I grabbed that from a news article, apparently someone got fed through a woodchipper and they somehow managed to ID the person (I think it was from their teeth, or jaw, or maybe a finger, cant really remember.) actually, this might have all been the basis for a TV show. Hell, I dont remember. Point is it was awesome.
