Downloads: A new file has been added by Termaximus:

gravlepit_overhead_pics.zip (http://tf2maps.net/downloads.php?do=file&id=187)

Overhead screenshots of cp_Gravelpit to assist with creating layouts for custom maps.

-I could not find anything like this on the web so thought I would take my own shots and share.
-Zip includes overhead of entire map and individual overhead of points A, B, and C and of blue spawn area.
-Hope it helps. Will try and do the other maps eventually also.

Your welcome. Hope it helps. Let me ask you though, I have some people say resolution is too low. I made them 640 x 480 to save on space and when I zoom in they stay sharp enough for layout help purposes. What do you think?

I think, turn off fog. Then these might be good, I have all the official maps decompiled and it only takes a few moments to load those up so I've got enough reference already

Yeah I thought of that after the fact. Do you know what the no fog console command is off hand? I will redo.

I agree the decompiled maps are easy enough to use for referance, but I think an overhead shot from in game is good for layout inspiration. Especially when I am at work and can not access Hammer.:D

Well, even when not zoomed in I find them already useful. But something like 1024x768 without fog would be the best I think :)

I'll try and redo them this weekend along with another one of the maps if I have time.

Another idea might be to add a rough grid for size?
