Mic Problems

I put vista on my computer. (Got a student discount on it and they don't have XP anymore at school). I have the audio drivers updated. I even installed them again. I cant get my mic to work. Everything is enabled in and out of game. Anyone have this problem with vista or know what it could be? Oh and the mic works on my other computer that has XP.

Silly question, but are you positive Vista does not have your mic input muted?

yeah i got it to work finally. the mic boost was on in game and out of game and for some reason it just completey messed my mic up.
