Hey all. Today we added the first of a 2 set user reward/rank/appreciation system.

The Addon is called "Thank You Hack" and what it does is add a little button at the end of a post. it will allow you to "thank" a user for his post.

Pretty simple huh?

The cool thing about it is under user's avatar and on users profile page you will be able to see how many thanks have been given to him/her and how many have been received from him/her.

You are also able to view where the user was thanked. IE you notice the user received 14 "thanks" for one thread and are interested what all the huss-fuss is about? you can find out =)

I hope you all really enjoy this addon, i know i do.

There will be another addon in a little time that will work with the thank system.

I know we switched Karma/thank/rank systems 3 times now, and im sorry. We don't mean to have "stats" reset. This will be the last time, I promise and this is here to stay.

Edit: Whoa! does that huge "The Following User Says Thank You to DJive For This Useful Post" thing stay there after a user thanks a post?

Yes, it is a list keeper of everyone who "thanks" the post/user. I'm going to work on getting it not so big and bold though. hrm.

Make the font a little smaller, but keep it bold. You can remove the remove button and add a small cross next to the nick of the person that's logged in. So he can remove it that way. Also saves a line of text :)

Im not sure I like it telling everyone I personally thank someone... I like the anonymous karma systems better, its more honest.
