I need a pile of coal something like this http://www.ohiocitizen.org/campaigns/coal/baard/pile.jpg

I need it the same sizes as the metal doors (small and big).

pile 'o' displacements.

It can be done easily without models - look at the gravelpit 3D skybox.

No but it has to be larger coal rocks. Rather than flat.

Play on CP_gravelpit. It has this done already.

Just use a displacement, it's faster and doesn't look half bad. I can attempt to make a coal texture if you need one.
