Everytime I look at Youme's avatar, I have to think of Neill from the Young Ones.
But Youme has got glasses, and like phatal, he keeps look at you... scary! -> 8/10


Before anyone rates me, lets do a bit of background.
First, you should know that a microwave in Dutch is a "magnetron".
Second, a Dutch comedian made an animated cartoon of MacBeth. In there, there is a pun by a fool, while being sent to the stake: how do you call a Scot on a stake? A macnetron!
Last, orange is the national color of the Dutch.
Those things combined make my avatar. And you can still flame it of course :)

EDIT: oh, and pronouncing, the accent is on 'Mac', certainly not 'Ne'.

I do believe you've got aspect ratio and resolution mized up, 16:9 is the aspect ration, which makes it widescreen not high definition, a high resolution which is pretty much anything over 1920×1080 is high def

Umm... yeah. That was more of a joke than anything Youme. :P

If you want to talk technical however, anything above 1920x1080 (1080i/p) is NOT the minimum you can have for high def, 1280×720 is the minimum (720i/p) with a 16:9 aspect. You can have 720x480 (480i/p) as well for high def but the aspect is only 3:2. :D

Having never seen Eddie Izzard's stuff and therefore without any silly emotional/nostalgic responses, all I have to go on is what it looks like. Kind of disturbing in content, not the best picture of him regardless, and the text seems forced in there, particularly the part at the bottom which goes from dark to light and back to dark background colors.

Extremely recognizable. Immediately identifiable with the user despite the fact that it has nothing to do with sniping. Would be a 9/10, but I'm not into pink :p

oh it seems I lost my post again....:S

DJ - 1/10 it went from a pretty good avatar to a pretty bad one that isnt well executed at all, the textures are bad the image is cramped and you lose marks because you had a recognisable one for ages and now have a new one.
Shmitz - 8/10 (like it more than I did before)
sniper - 7/10 lost marks because of: pink/odd pose/jpg compression other than that its pretty cool, and recognisable
Vander - 6/10 lose marks for jpg compression, nasty colour for the name and the boundry should be shifted to the left so you can see his hand and so that his head is one third in (makes for better composition)

There we go, didn't lose it this time :D

good point indeed. So my new *oh fuck me * problem. I lost the .psd as well on my reformat. So i can try to remake, or take a pow quality picture with all its ugly fuzziness =(
