Waiting for Torchlight 2 simply because I'm sick of online cash schemes, and do not like them blocking absolutely all modding.

Have seen some gameplay videos on random channels, do appreciate some of their design decisions and improvements, but that's good enough for me.

My parents just didn't let me play those games when I was younger, and I have not really gotten around to getting the game and trying it out... Do I really want to? Not really. If given the oppurtunity to try it? Yes, I would.

Diablo has completely passed me by. Like, completely. Dont even know what genre it is. Can someone give me the cliff notes on why everyone loves it?

It's like a Loot based RPG dungeon crawler?

I just know it as "Something like torchlight"

It falls under the action/rpg genre, but the old kind which was top down rather than the 3d over-the-shoulder kind we get now. Loot oriented, dungeons are randomized, just really good in general.
