Im guessing this is going to be covering the basics, but for anyone new to hammer it might be of some relevance, i got this email from the hl2mappers digest so im just quoting it here
I'm going to be trying a new thing soon. It's a live streaming hammer
editor tutorial/lesson through ustream.tv. It's at 8pm EST tonight. On the
current stream you can find a clock which has my local time on it.
During the tutorial/lesson I will take requests on things people want to see
done in hammer. Of course I can only do things I know how to do, but I feel
I know quite enough to teach others how to use it.
If you are interested the link is http://www.ustream.tv/channel/ren-tv and
is currently running a loop of my 4 HL2 tutorials I posted on
stage6.comback before it closed down. I'll go live tonight around
8-ish.
Also, the live stream will be much clearer than the currently streaming
tutorials (They were originally made for HD). I'll have hammer in a lower
resolution window so it's easier to see. And, there will be a smaller
window in the corner that has a magnified view of where my cursor is to make
it even easier to see exactly what I'm doing. (Which will work out perfect
in hammer because it will just cover up the lower right hand editing
window).
