I am making a map but recently another idea came into my mind and i sorta lost intrest in the first map. What do you guys do in this predicament? :blushing:

I play other peoples WiP's. Give feedback think of what "I" would do different.
Stop at fpsb and look through the screenshots etc.
Join a random custom server and play through a map or two what people like.
Always hang out in the Steam Chat Room for TF2map.net. Awesome bunch in there and always useful help and info given.

lol, thanks for the link. i might try to see the viability of the other map i was considering, are underwater maps possible? does water pour through doors and stuff?

That deserves a double facepalm..... seriously, do you really think hes talking about real water?!?!
To answer dragonflame's question seriously: No water in source games does not flow at all, you can make it rise and lower (as a whole plane) but it always hase to be flat and it doesn't flow like normal water.

darn. but its ok, i started back on my first map and now i got some good idea for it ^^ if it would just compile properly >:O
