I have looked into several resources about how to add music into a map, but all I've found is things telling me to add ambient_generics to the map. I have played on cyberpunk (from the creator of the original mario_kart map) and he had set up (i'm assuming) a soundscape for his music files. Now, I was wondering if this was how you would go about making a sound file play just as loudly no matter where you are in a map, or if there's a way to set a sound/music file to play clientside at a set volume.

ambient_generic has a flag "Play everywhere". this would be the easiest way, I would think.

Yeah, I just managed to completely overlook it. Flags tend to always elude me, for some reason.

That's what valve uses, so probably.

If you have an .mp3 file, you can edit it and save it as a .wav using Audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/)
