first time skybox

If I have finished an unconventionally shaped map like below (mine's actually much much more complex), can I still make a 3D skybox? do I need to worry about seeing area 3 and 2 from area 1 or vice versa? Can I place 3D skybox materials in the triangular middle of 1 2 3? thanks in advance!

The sky camera will only show up in areas with skybox texture. so you shouldn't have a problem as long as there aren't leaks or anything. Just make sure everything is properly aligned.
