I was wondering if rain precipitation entities, when walked through, would trigger the whole 'dripping wet' effect that submerging a player in water has. I'd like to make a rainy map, with the purpose being that spies would want to pause for a moment in a secluded place before entering cloaked, lest they be given away by the faint water effect.

Rain will not effect the cloak of the spy like glittering or something. Its a funny idea and realistic, but source doesn't do that automatically :)

Yes, however when a spy (or any other class) moves from submersion in water to a dry place, they have a 'dripping' effect for a short time after, and this effect is visible even when cloaked. I was wondering if anyone's had any experience with the precipitation entity or maps with the entity in it, and whether or not rain causes the same effect.
EDIT: sorry for the huge run-on.
