1) my 3d view only shows with lines and dots and i would like ot have it with all the textures etc.
2) is there any tutorial to make a payload?

1) press camera at the corner, then Select Textured
2)yes there's one at Valve dev page, and I think there's one on this site to, just go into the tutorial forum.
