In this thread we post great inspiration shots. Make sure they're visible directly from your post! I'll start off with a bunch of shots I grabbed off of the Incredibles. Feel free to contribute from flickr, etc!

Try this: Exercise your spytech prowess by trying to copy some of the thematic details in the following shots. Make sure you note unusual uses of lighting, glass and especially water. Remember water can look beautiful as just a detail! Stop rehashing the same computerwalls and try something more spytech in your next map ;)

Those are nice. They don't work as inspiration for my current project, but I'm sure they could inspire someone else.

I have some nice pictures of Edinburgh castle (the big one) that I took a while ago, I think I'll upload them tomorrow or something.

EDIT: Aww, I've lost the SD card. Sigh.

[picture request] anyone remember that picture of grass and brick checkered plateaus built into a valley town on a green coastal moutainside posted about a month or two ago? not very TF2-ish but that pic was awesome.

I do have a collection of more than 400 images all about the wild west and mining theme. Obviously it's impossible to post all of them here but I could upload them to my server if you're interested (it's ~50 MB zip). I did collect them for my next project cp_kriegspfad but I'm still working on the oil rig thingy so I would share them with you.

here's another interesting page I found for inspiration: a travelling couple that has been to over 50 countries and took a lot of pictures (http://www.ianandwendy.com/)
