hey all,

Im having trouble finding out how to create a canyon wall type thing to surround my level (like may official maps) and some unevan slightly hilly ground, these images show exactly what im after.

I have been fiddling around with Painting Geometry but cant see achieving something like this with that tool.

I don't understand. You use displacements to create cliffs like that. You must be doing something wrong. Please tell us how you have made your cliffs.

Psycho, I think he just doesn't know how to use displacements.

Benvox, in the tutorials section Youme has an excellent tutorial on making displacement cliffs.
I would check it out.
