For a couple months man has racked his brain over how to implement the classic dustbowl and avanti gameplay into TF2. Here is my my own take on it. As many people know, CTF and CP modes do not like melding very much. In order for the Dustbowl round system to work nicely, you have to have functional CP's, but once you have functional CP's, the flag HUD compass goes bye bye.
My attempt at a makeshift compass is to have two beams linking it to the blue spawn and the CP. I put some story element rationalizing the beams in there somewhere.
For no extra charge you also get to see my efforts at making a decent looking ocean and some extreme HDR effects.
