I'm wondering if someone who's a bit more savvy with photoshop and texture editing could create a couple of these. Just a few decals to add to the spawn room (or wherever you see fit), to promote the group. So everyone who plays will know that all of these amazing maps are coming from one source; the Team Fortress 2 Mappers.

this sounds like an amazing idea!

I have an idea for a poster... but I can't get the model viewer or face poser to work on my machine so I can get a good shot of the engi :(

Installing the SDK on my XP machine to see if I can get it to work there.

[EDIT] Alright i got the model viewer to run on XP, took a few screen shots. I'm not the best at photoshop but ill see what i can whip up

(On a side note the engi looks funny holding the scouts baseball bat :))

Quickly whipped this up... it's not great, I'll work on it some more later if i get bored :)

I never knew you could pose models in model viewer, all I get is weird results like this

I think I'll stick to Garry's Mod

I like what I'm seeing :) Now how hard would it be to convert these into vtf format, so we can use them as decals? I also have one request. Possible to make our group's Steam avatar into a poster/decal? Or better yet, "This map brought to you by the Team Fortress 2 Mappers Group". Or something similar. Ok last one I promise lol. "tf2maps.net Home Of The TF2Mappers"

I give it a go at making your group's Steam avatar into a poster. Send it to me in a PM and I'll get to work on it.

The thread, it lives!

Yes, I have the power to resurrect a thread from the dead. It's a heavy burden to bear, but I try to use it wisely. ;)

If you're interested I could probably help you convert it into a spray. Just email me the picture in the highest resolution you have. Nizzem[-at-]gmail.com

sprays are maxed at 256x256 so this should be enough i already made a spray from it bt with my texture quality set to low its just to ugly :(
