These can and has been checked and is monitored by us weekly. Right now Pepper said 23.6% of users are using IE. This poll/thread is to get some feedback from you guys.
With recent site changes we are finding well.. IE stinks. What takes us 5 minutes to do for a firefox or opera website takes us 40+ minutes to fix for IE..
We would LOVE to have to only work with a few browsers and realize most people, and people who view our site are using other then IE.
Please if you love us... Or even the internet.. upgrade to firefox =)

honestly, I've never used Opera, but I'd rather stick with firefox, where I know I can have add-ons and such

Apparently, 23.6% of this community are just as crazy as you, so don't worry, you're not alone. =D
But once you join the Firefox flock you will never be alone :), come, join us...
extensions I recommend:
No Script: If you know what you are doing with this one it will lock down your browser in a comforting layer of security. But if you dont knw what you are doing with this youll stare at pages for hours wondering why pages dont load.
Image Zoom: so you can zoom in on images
Forecast fox: knowing the weather is always nice (that way im not wondering if its a nice day out while I'm inside on my computer, I KNOW it is :)

Heh, but I'm the lone voter for IE! LOL
whoa 18 to 2 for firefox so far. I never knew it was such a majority
I use it because microsoft fucks IE up every time they update it and load their page instead of my homepage... I just want to use the internet damnit! I dont want an update, there is nothing wrong with the browser I use!! if it aint broke, dont fix it!

if it aint broke, dont fix it!
I don't think that phrase will ever apply to IE. =P
actually the reason for my swap was because some pathetic small company decided to sue microsoft over the flash player making microsoft put in an extra click before anything worked, this broke 98% of my interenet usage at the time so I ditched IE for the nearest alternative and since I had FF installed for some reason it was that, since then I've grown to find the tabs (which are now in IE too ¬¬) invaluable

Mm, tabs win. I've been using firefox for years now and have never been dissapointed. Even the updates are hassle free.

Pfff. A lot of the time I come here with Safari, so where's that on the poll?
Not that you need to worry much about compatibility with it. If you stick to the standards, Safari is fine.

Yeah, seconding, since I play TF2 all the time now with Crossover Games, instead of booting into Windows.

I think we can agree that we should all use FF, except for the stubborn Opera fan-boy (you are, don't try to deny it).

I like Gopher, Firefox, and Chrome.

IE will never be good or safe or usable at all ;)
I prefer Opera because it has mouse gestures, it stays all in one window, you can save and load sessions with multiple open web pages, you can zoom any webpage without worrying about bad css code. It can even scale flash sites without any problems. just to name a few advantages.

I'll look into opera. I mean the Wii and DS versions that i've tried seem to be pretty good. (even if the ds version takes FOREVER to load a page.)

I switched to firefox when it was version 1.5 and have not looked back. I only switch to IE if I really need to, and even then I use the firefox extension "IE Tab" which uses the IE rendering engine in firefox for individual tabs.
I love add-ons, I have three that I can not go without:
1. Adblock Plus
2. Tab Mix Plus
3. Foxmarks
I have not seen a single ad since I installed adblock plus, although I do turn it off on some sites that I regularly visit that dont have anoying ads.
Tab Mix Plus lets me customize how the tabs open and function in firefox, they made some changes since 1.5 in them, and this lets me set them back to the way they used to work.
Finally, I use at least 3 computers regularly, Foxmarks synchronizes my bookmarks accross all three computers.
On my Pocket PC I use either Opera Mobile or the alpha test of Skyfire.

Opera has too many fancy fancy features. Firefox is very functional, user friendly and clean, just how I like it.
