My map is 24mb zipped and 10mb 7zipped. I prefer 7z obviously. I request that the submit system support this format! Go!

I really like 7z also, however I find that not many people actually use it unfortunately...

So provide a link to it. its free easy to set up and easy to use.
I've recently had to get it so I can put maps on our fast download server. I think for anyone running a server having maps already 7zipped for them is great, but for those that are just downloading the map so they dont have to in-game don't need it as much, there are upsides and downsides.
Bzip2 ftw! :D
( i mean coming from a linux geek i like the command line version of bzip2 better than windows 7zip, which gives exactly the same results )

bzip2 is only slightly smaller than regular zip, while 7z is MUCH smaller than both bz2 and zip. 7z wins by far.
Original bsp: 28.6mb
Zip: 15mb
bz2: 14.5mb
7z: 6.6mb
At least compressing a bsp

Am I blind or does this link exist nowhere on this page?

P.S. I love 7zip: the interface, the multiple supported formats, and the superiority of the 7z format
