Missing Source TV [Archive]

Recently I've encounter such problem.
The server has enabled sourcetv but the tv isn't in the server. I've tried restart the server, disable and re-enable the cvar but does not work. The additional slot for the sourcetv is shown but the tv just does not appear to be in the server.

Does anyone encounter such problem before or has any solution to it?

Thanks for the link but thats not the problem i'm facing currently. I know how to enable the soucetv.
The problem is that the sourcetv is not in the server as it's suppose to be. A 24 slot server with sourcetv enabled will show 1/25 in the server list but its 0/25 now. The sourcetv is missing.

do you got the sourcetv.cfg added in you're cfg folder?

I occasionally get this issue, though it seems to happen on specific maps and I haven't found out why.

Check your console.log in the /tf/ folder, is it insanely large? Mine tends to bloat up to 20MB or more by flooding the console with an error I believe to be related to SourceTV's inability to run on some maps (or circumstances, if it isn't the map itself).

I've try using the additional cfg to enable to the sourcetv but it doesn't work.
I could not locate the console.log in the /tf/ folder. is it located somewhere else or any cvar to enable it?

Btw, I don't think its due to the maps as i've basically tried on all the maps in the server.

Used to be a 3rd party program called hltv which was used to allow players to spectate a match/game play without actually connecting to the server. Valve has that function build into TF2.

I bet hltv was always Valve one.
