Sweet :) Though this is a weekly event, it just runs between the 2 dates. I was hoping this would save me the trouble of posting a new thread every time, lol.

Please please please give us a timezone when announcing events. Kinda difficult to know if I can attend these things when there's a +/- 12 hour inprecision!

Dammit, I added the timezone to the testing one, but not this :S I was going off central standard, but I think it might be more prudent to base things on eastern time (U.S.) http://www.timetemperature.com/tzus/time_zone.shtml

Thanks for that. I would go for GMT/Universal Coordinated Time personally. It avoids any problems with daylight savings, since it never changes. And for once, it means the US definitely isn't the centre of the universe, that honour belongs to the UK (at least for 6 months of the year when we are on GMT) ;)

things went pretty well tonight, with a couple snags.
After the server crashed people were unable to download maps apparently, and they halved the people on the server, and it petered off from there.
Or I can put it this way: map changed to hoodoo and everyone left :P

Dammit, this is what happens when I go out to dinner :S Still, glad to hear we got some fun out of this one.

Yeah, when I finally got back to my computer and had a decent enough ping to play, I started downloading a map from the server, hoodoo_b2 I believe, and it would start downloading, then stop after a bit. So I spent the night mapping instead.

Sorry about that Shadow :S But this is why I really need the feedback from our community. My plan atm is to give each map on the server a quick run-through to weed out any weird ones. Obviously not fool-proof, as a lot can change when the server is under load. But it's a start. Hope to see everybody this Friday :)
