Why dont you just delete the CalcCritKnife section from sourcemod/gamedata/sm-tf2.games.txt?
Spy problem does not = pl problem.

Well... a couple of those crashes no one was playing spy, so either way it wouldn't solve it all.

I just wanted to post this quickly. For once the problem is not my fault nor that of the server.

You can also try this http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=86478
There is no tangible evidence that Spies are the issue (many people had been playing Spy on previous maps). And there's no tangible evidence that PL maps are, either (for instance we had no trouble playing Saguaro). Some people in that thread also suggested a Linux issue (which it isn't), a AMD-X64 issue (which it isn't either), and even a changemap problem (we had a good run of at least six maps before that and no crash, so you be the judge). In the end, those are mostly wild guesses and we can't do much more than wait for Valve's intervention.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's some combination of those things. Both servers are linux-based, and the [Z] is heavily modified w/ SourceMod. The payload map early in the rotation ran w/out issue. Also, thanks for the link Zmathue, I'll be sure to try it out this evening :)

I can't help but find this kind of funny, we managed to not crash the server for once, so valve steps in and does it for us :P

We did kind of screw up the server, though. :P The redirect for cp_vulture_a4 didn't work for some reason, and everyone got dropped off.

Yes, that was sad, and I had a limited amount of time to participate in gameday yesterday...you're game for next week right? I'll try to be there, for all the gameday maps.

I originally got the map from here as was linked in the event thread, and of course got the consistency error. I renamed it and downloaded from the server just to see what was on there, but it still failed because you don't get it from the server, but the redirect. I checked the MD5 checksums and the one I downloaded previously and the one the server redirects you to were identical files.
So. The redirect was fine, it was the server's version that somehow got corrupted.

I told this to Dr Pepper earlier, but disabling taunt animations may help alleviate this problem.

The reality is VALVe broke SOMETHING and now need to fix it, and fast. I know my Server provider has no clue what's actually causing the problem, they just see patterns (such as PL maps). My guess is VALVe will be releasing the new content this week, and with it a patch for the crashing problem. Here's hopin'...

Hmm... I wonder why it crashes on payload maps. I can understand a spy related crash as he got some big tweaks in the update. But payload wasn't touched at all... or was it? Maybe Valve introduced already new code for the double payload map (that probably got removed last minute) and that's causing problems. Maybe the crash was the reason why the map wasn't included. And maybe I'm overinterpreting stuff. Maybe.

Im still not getting the gist of it, pl+spy is not making much sense to me, as a problem. I will say the server in general is buggy for me especially the nix server. A majority of the time i end up having to find work arounds my self.
Any way anybody who didnt get server time, and want there map tested get with me and I can provide server time. Im pretty open so just contact me.
