I'm new to mapping, but I can't get enough of the work that you and others do. Custom maps blow the stock maps out of the water on TF2. So, I wanted to try my hand at it. I'm just glad there's a place I can come and learn all this. Thank you all in advance because I'm sure you'll be answering a lot of my questions.

Welcome to the community =) If you haven't already opened Hammer give it some love, it has a quick but steep learning curve... but once you make your first boxed room you are well on your way to mapping levels! =)
