I realize that a number of people lost between a week and 10 days due to an unfortunate Hammer bug. However, I want to emphasize the importance of actually putting a serious effort into this project. If you have been slacking off, or just not taking it seriously, then having extra time won't do you any good.

So when does it end now?

EDIT: Smooth poll add. Anyways, I am torn. For one, it helps me. For another, it helps my enemies.

I'll go with no.

What kind of extension are we talking about? I mean how many days will be added?

EDIT: YES!

I have the same question as Potato and Political Gamer. :)

Edit: Oh, I see a poll. :D

Not sure just yet. Probably a week, maybe a little more. The point is that you have a little extra time for polish and such, not balancing the flow of the first stage ;)

Since I'm already short on time (by working on multiple maps) an extra week or so for detailing would help me out greatly. Voting yes.

I'm fine either way

Considering that I'm only mere weeks away from B1, It's unnecessary.

Considering that a lot of contest maps that I've played so far are still very early on into development, I feel that an extension is neccesary.

It's about time! :P

Having been sick for the last week and this being my first foray into hammer level design, I voted for an extension.

Since I was so late to playtest Animus and the gamemode needs lot of polishing, I vote Yes.

As far as I know, the map doesn't have to be completely finished by the deadline, right?

Depends. What kind of score would you like?

Besides, some of us have Jobs AND school to attend

:P

You can enter a map in any state, but yes, it would effect the relevant scoring brackets.

I think an extension would be useful to get a better details polish

since getting into this voluntary research job (for adding to CV as experience), i've not had a chance to work on mine at all. the little time i do have i'm too tired out to do serious mapping (which is exactly why something as silly as farmlands even exists).
i've basically gone from mapping more than 9-5 full time, 7 days a week to maybe 10 hrs a week if i'm lucky.
what with revisions being needed for refinery and rivercrossing too at some point, i dunno how i'll fit it all in, so any extension will be much welcome. especially since i'm probably gonna have to scrap my final stage and build it from scratch cos the current one isn't quite working.
