Help Using Skin

Forgive me for being a nOOb... but

I just downloaded a bottle skin and I'm not sure where the "v_bottle.vtf" file goes.
It extracted like this:
\...\team fortress 2\tf\materials\models\weapons\v_bottle

Does the "v_bottle.vtf" file go on my server or in my game? :confused1:

Because in my game, "\models\weapons\v_bottle" doesn't exsist.

iirc it should go in both the server and your local disk. if its not on your computer, the server will transfer it when you connect.

Crap... That didn't work at all. Demoman shows default bottle.
