I couldn't agree more. I always felt that there was a reason that Valve never redid avanti for TF2... that the game-mode had too many problems and when brought over it just didn't feel right. However, these maps all seem to prove them otherwise... I wouldn't be surprised if Valve seriously starts thinking about adding a new game-mode after this contest... :)

If you want to cleverly do things and see everything in the map, try and grab a Source TV demo, not a POV demo. POV demos will only render stuff around YOU, and not the rest. That makes them a lot harder to fool around with.

Well alot of those maps are not in RC, Abandoned, but still great maps like mill we could still include. With all the maps on the list currently it wont be near a gig i would think.

Weird TF2 Crash

When I click connect on a server, while its connecting and before I reach the choose teams option etc I do nothing! No shift-tab, no alt-tab, no clicking. Just wait for it to connect or TF2 will crash, been like that for ages.

If it's game specific you might want to verify the game cache integrity if you haven't done so already, it's a longshot but I've fixed quite a few errors in TF2 using the method.
