I don't know which of these contains something you'd find relevant to what you'd need to do, since I don't actually use Maya, but 3DS and maya both use mental ray, so I'd assume you'd be capable of making renders of similar quality to those.

You might find something there.

i appreciate the advice but Im already aware of maya's functions let alone mental ray. I have no need to render anything in this manner because quite frankly it wont look anything like it does ingame. Not to mention that this "gray blob" doesnt even have textures yet, and I see no reason to try to make 8 polygons with no detail and with no uv maps, look pretty.
Lastly, i haven't been working on this model because of irl stuff, Ill get it done eventually sorry

In 3ds I press f9 and in less than a second I have a picture of a model more presentable than that, honestly it doesn't take much effort at all, and at the very least makes you look just that much more professional :\

Sorry Dutchsilab, unfortunately due to personal reasons i cant finish this for you .
Sorry for taking so long but all I can really do is just give what I have. It wont work ingame but if someone would like to pick it up, be my guest. Once again I apologize.
