Hammer hotkeys have become unresponsive

I get an odd ctrl+z error where if I press it twice or more, it will put me in 3D movement mode so I cant select anything unless I double click an object and bring up it's properties.

That's because regular "Z" does that. Just press Z again to stop it. It's the same error, it's your ctrl key that is unresponsive, so Hammer registers it as you only pressing Z.

Basically: unplug your extra input devices (controllers). I don't have the issue so I can't check if it works, but good luck anyway.

I pretty much unplug everything i could and nothing change.
