I'm making an olympic-sized pool map and am having some trouble modeling the lane dividers. As you can see from the first figure, I used 2 sets of pipes to model the dividers but it looks a bit unrealistic. Would it be possible to use brushwork or change the size/color of the pipes to make it look more realistic and uniform?
If not, how hard would it be to model the dividers (similar to those in figure 2)?
You want the swamp pack models, it has what you want. (just connect them with rope, and if you don't want people passing through them (but under and over them), just clip them.
And I don't think the style you have shown came about until after the time period that the TF2 universe began.
