Error with VBCT

Hello! I was recently told that, because hammer kept crashing during compiling and making me lose work, I should use VBCT. That was working all day yesterday, however, when I go to compile my map, I get an error now.

So yeah...I've tried verifying TF2 and the Source SDK files, still didn't work.

restarting sdk fixes this, if not restart steam and if that doesn't work, you're out of luck

I usually have to go into the processes under task manager, kill vrad.exe, then restart steam.

If that doesn't do it (or it doesn't let me restart steam), I restart computer.

If restarting everything doesn't work, then you're the first person I know the be completely locked out of Hammer because of the master pipe.

Well, I DID eventually fix it, still annoying...also, what is the master lock?

The master pipe is the deity of all source engine mappers. It allows us to map through it. You must continue to map well to please the master pipe. Make a mistake, or do something wrong, it punishes you with a lockout of the mapping realm, forcing you to restart your computer, so you can think about your insolence.
