Default [Resource] Architectural References


I just took a trip to Boston (for PAX East) via train and made a pass through Chicago, which has, I found, some awesome industrial buildings that fit the TF2 style. Just wanted to share my new reference shots.

I love the angles on that second building. I am definitely incorporating something from that building in the future.

I've taken a few the past couple years when the wife and I are travelling, I stash them in a 'game concept' folder for future use. I actually started a tf2 map based on some of these a couple years back, but never went anywhere with it.

Some are from Montana, others around where I live, and a few are from work.

I wish i had a camera when i was on my mission trip to Chattanooga, Chattanooga is known for its industry and trains. :/

Citation needed for ALL of these pictures as I think I've already seen them in TF2 Pyroland - or maybe I'm just been wearing my mask for too long :-)
