Contest idea thread!

Say why don't we have a team contest?

1 person does the alpha then
1 person modifies it to beta - but still dev textures only
1 person details
1 person lights it

the team can test it and give feedback to the other team members

contest has time limit

I like this a lot.

Gotta make sure YM and Rexy don't team up though, we'll all be doomed.

Just do a random draw of teams, then let people trade around until everyone is happy.

With the release of Kong King looming, there should be a contest for maps that take place outside the United States. I would love to see some more international maps.

I can see one person promising to work, and not working. Collabs don't really work for >2 people really if you're not all in one room talking to each other.

I vote no on the relay.

It would need the cooperation of our top texture and model artists, but other than that it sounds like a good idea to me. Egypt or anything that co-opts its theme would have to be off the table, mind.

Maybe we'd finally get a good Venice map.

I don't think it'd make a good major contest though.

This is also one of the reasons why we haven't done collab contests.

If the next contest doesn't involve 5cp maps, I WILL KILL EVERYONE FOR ALL TIMES EVER!

I probably wouldn't even enter, but competitive players need new mappers desperately. This Koth contest is great, but 5cps are really the bread and butter of 6v6.
