Default Idea For Vetting - Ball Pit


I just want to see whether or not this happens to be viable:

Would it be possible (and not client-destroying) to create a ball pit? As in, a pit filled with small spherical physics objects that react to players, explosions, and so on? Say, at the base of a slide?

No. TF2 has stripped down one-way physics.

Not to mention, if you had that many physics models in the source engine you'd be effed. It would kill your computer.

You might be able to fake it with some sort of particle system.

Default Idea For Vetting - Ball Pit


Make something that looks like a ball pit but then it turns out to be a door that opens before you reach the end and drops you into a spike pit.
