RULES
The server isn't big on rules. The first rule is
don't be a dick. This generally entails
not stealing from other's chests,
not removing other's blocks, etc. It also means not getting in the way of other's projects, being reasonable when conversing with others, etc. Then, we ask you not to
cheat or duplicate through any manner of Notch bugs/exploits. It's no fun for other players.
In list format:
- Be A Good Citizen
- Don't Cheat/Duplicate or Exploit
- Follow Common Guidelines
COMMON GUIDELINES- Box-houses are not tolerated.*[/b]
- If you cut down trees, cut them all the way down. Leaving floating tree trunks is bad.
- Be considerate of your neighbors. This means no gigantic stone castle next to someone's wooden house, unless they ok it.
- Clean up after creeper explosions, etc. It's no fun to have to walk around the crater later.
- Do not leave block-pillars (pillars that go into the sky) around.
- If you are going to build a 'sky' object, it needs to be believable. No floating castles without some believable amount of land!
* Especially not in/near towns. If you wish to make an outpost or holding zone temporarily to store supplies/etc, please consider digging into a cliff-side, or the ground and placing a door and/or torch to mark it's location. I understand one does not always want to build a full-featured building, but I urge you to cut inside the wall and leave less of a visual impact than to leave a ugly garnished world.
Repeated failure to follow these guidelines will result in something. I'd hope to never have to come to this but you never know.
