RED and BLU have set up both their bases nearby a major distribution site atop a desert peninsula nearby two rivers. (Betcha didn't see that one coming: look into the skybox, they're there) The two corporations each want control of both the rivers and the major distribution center, of course, but what they don't know is that the other is hiding a top secret technologic base inside the main façade!

Yeeup, that's so original.
It used to be dynamic, but it isn't anymore and it won't. Because I can.

BETA 3:
Detailed RED and BLU sides more
Re-detailed RED a bit
Much skybox work
More skybox work
Finalization
Not adding soundscapes (darn.)

BETA 2:
Detailing is changed a bit.
Planned out the rest of the changes.
Overlays remade.
Layout tweaked.
Tons of little tiny things that just made it better.

BETA 1B:
Detailed RED Spawn
Removed all traces of dev materials
Detailed insides more
Changed layout slightly
Prepped for detail overhaul for RED side
Optimized
A lot of tiny little insignificant things

BETA 0:
- Detailed BLU spawn
- Detailed mid a bit
- Detailed BLU yard and paths to mid
- Detailed most interiors
- Properly lighted most interiors
- Occluders used mildly for optimization (still needs more optimization!)
- Made a 3d skybox
- Clipped vigorously
- Edited a lot of the OOB parts of the map overall
- Fixed hopefully everything with the custom props
- A lot of insignificant small things

BUGS:
- Areaportal cuts through a slight portion of a visible func_detail and causes slight visual disdain
- FPS isn't as good as I'd like
- 3d skybox's shadows do not properly match with the edge of the playable area
- 3d skybox fog is a little off

ALPHA 8
Major changes:
Detailing to 85% of geometry
Preparation for beta
Clipping
Optimization

ALPHA 7:
Changed mid a lot
Hid dynamic elements
Detailed slightily
Optimization

ALPHA 6:
RED detailing
RED spawn detailed outside
Cubemaps
Optimization
Smaller file than a5 (by 77%!)

ALPHA 5:
Changed layout a bit.
Lighting!
Moar textures!
Cubemaps!
Properly packed model textures!
Bloated filesize due to packing ALL the construction model skins!

prealpha:
Blocked out map
Added lights
Displaced
Needs screenies

alpha 1:
optimized a little with skyboxes
added basic full lighting
finished structures
finished entity work

alpha 1a:
fixed visualizers
added fence to "sniper decks" rendering them useless
bz2 uploaded

alpha 4b:
lots and lots of stuff
some textures
opened up the map
added dynamic element
"better" lighting

alpha 4c:
made the middle point bigger
added more textures
packed properly (I hope)

alpha 4d:
cubemaps

Alpha 1 released.
I'll get this tested asap.
No dl links because of a few bugs in spawns that I should have fixed.

I always like koth maps where you can go beneath the point, like koth_ashville. I even tried to do it in koth_refinery, my first godawful map.
I'm sure you'll have implemented it better than I did.

a4b updated.
I didn't bother updating between a1 and a4 because I don't know
I must test this so that everyone can tell me if the dynamic element plays terrible, is annoying, and/or is gimmicky



excuse my partial hud because apparently cl_drawhud didn't work for me at the time
