The graphics on the latest gameplay vid are incredible, and its great to see zombies barging past each other to get to maul you first or leaping realistically onto the top of cars and stuff....
Also - it looks like we're getting dynamic cloths!!! :woot:
The AI director also sounds like it takes a lot into account and has control over a lot of the effects to make the ride a really great show.

but I am dissapointed by the endles monotone "reloading" screams, but you can't have everything perfect now can you.

And yes, I'm gunna map for it.

Release date: November 20th for PC and XBox 360 (its been delayed, but thats not suprising knowing valve, and its only 2 weeks, its a tiny delay)

I've been following Left 4 Dead for a while and am pretty psyched for it.
Can't complain about hordes of zombies and co-op play.

Don't care coz hl2 rulez, other stuff sux.

where does that leave you with TF2 then? thats not HL2....
In fact, I'd say L4D is more like HL2 than TF2 since its a realistic setting rather than the cartoony style.

I have no idea whether I'm even going to buy L4D at all. Of course, if I do, it's the mapping that will keep me busy the most. I'm not sure if I could manage to have a good time playing a co-op game - the type of game that is clearly the most fun with friends next to you - with random people.

Thats part of the fun though, get some of your 'net' friends together and play. I plan to play with members of my clan.

See, my friends list is full of people that I play TF2 with. Not because we were friends first, but rather that we're regulars on a server with a great community. Because of that, we'll probably end up playing together.
