Default Displacement Issue


hey all, I am working on a King of the hill type map, but having displacement issues on this image, checked for all leaks and everything is working fine. any suggestion what would be causing this?

bad texture? try another one.

If that doesnt do it, check for problems alt+p and maybe it says: invalid displacement.

it says no NoDraw on terrain surface hehe.. i tried a different texture like brick.

Default Displacement Issue


Ok the brick texture does work, but i used a cliff texture and it gives me the white stuff as shown above in the picture.

np np, sometimes easy things are the solution. Be sure to check for problems (alt+p) alot. Really helps

Also, dont use hl2 textures. Type tf in the filter so you only see the TF2 textures
