Title says it all.

Just found this when cleaning... no idea what it does.

The white end looks like it might plug into my mobo... (2 pins, female). The other end... is plastic?

The little piece in the back looks to be either a phone jack or a power connector. As for that big one, maybe it's a Tetris block?

The plug-end looks like the same mystery cable I had not too long ago that came with my Video card. Mine we an SPDIF cable, which has something to do with audio hardware. See THIS resource for more information. Hope that helps!

Here's what mine looked like:

2pin power connector on one side.

The odd piece though, any other angles?

So I broke down and busted the plastic end to see what it was hiding.

I still have no idea what this thing does. The cord just separates at the end into the two small metal rods, that were slid into opposite sides of a glass tube (that I busted, oops). The rods overlapped each other before I broke the glass. The tube was at the fat end of the plastic piece. What the hell is that?

I'm still interested if anyone knows, just so I know what to look for if I need to replace it.
