Default A quicker way of 3D modelling?


Am I the only one noticing the bad faces on the sides of the car, and how the entire front of it looks like it's recently been in a car accident?

Cool for a rough model to add details to, but the detailing it did by itself looks mediocre at best.

Can't really say much about the second model it did though, never got close enough to see any detail.

I have to agree, I think it's a very lame way of modeling.

Lame, yes, but quicker.

You could probably output it to Maya/Blender/3Dmax anyway and make it better anyway, using VideoTrace as a basic guide.

You could, but chances are if you have no idea how to model the basic shape yourself, you're not going to know how to improve what it pumps out for you either.
