In light of our recent subscription special, I thought it would be a good idea to go over some of the basics of online payments for our younger members. The system we use is called PayPal. It is a banking and transfer system, no different than your local ATM. It is 100% safe, and it's money-handling system is the same as for modern credit cards. Absolutely no personal or financial information is required for making purchases. PayPal simply acts as the middle-man. And if your parents are still skeptical of why you would need to spend even 1 dollar on (what the heck is this website again?), be honest. This is a community for digital creative arts (patent pending ), and you would like to support it. If you (or your folks) have any questions at all concerning our donor program and/or online payments, please send a message to myself or the webmaster drpepper. Is there anyway we could use something other than paypal? I am OK with it if we have to put I never really liked paypal all that much.

I don't see why not. But I'm curious as to what specifically you don't like about it?
